Howdy Folks!

 

 I'm Bree Richard: "Mama Bree", wife, mama, goof ball, daughter, sister, friend, artist, musician, teacher, visionary, & spiritual type gal. My mission is to give back to our community and contribute to the creativity in every person that I can. My goal will be to partner with a few different organizations on creating & scheduling children's art classes in our community over the summer for a "KIDS & CANVAS" program. 

The short of it all is: I was raised by 2 amazing souls my papa & mama. They instilled the love of art, music, people, & God in me, while nurturing my creative spirit. I have had many jobs in my life, started 2 successful businesses & held 1 long term career over past 9 years, which have collectively taught me more about life & people & following our dreams than I ever thought possible. I have learned much about life over the years that has helped me to create this business, much about, people, faith, love, art, spirit, music, children, joy, creation, powers of positive thought, education, being a life long student, friendship, family, order of importance & myself. Many of us have lost touch with that creative & lighthearted self we once knew & I aim to offer an avenue that is easy, affordable & fun to get your "groove back" or find your groove you never knew existed!

 

I am combining all of this to create - ARTY PARTIES / SASSY GLASS CLASSES. My goal is to bring some friendly souls together to "create" fun artistic projects affordably & easily! People who yearn to re-connect with friends & make something! Who knows where this will go, but I'm excited to see. Thank you to my sweet soul susta's for always having my back & giving me the encouragement to follow my heart!

The long of it:

Painting wine glasses is less of a commitment & more carefree when out with friends for fun & socializing! You need no experience, skill or innate talent. I'm not teaching technique & this is meant to be for FUN. Your more apt to actually use your glass or gift it away. My students can put whatever they choose on their glasses using templates, stencils, or their own creativity, it's not a "one size fits all design." Most importantly I can charge an affordable fee...YES!

I also decided to do private ARTY PARTIES as well for children, teens & adults looking for an exciting or relaxing new experience for their celebrations. I can then offer those fun canvas classes where it's customized to your group & interest! Clients can choose from their choice of medium including, canvas, paper, watercolor, collage, glass, wood signs, or even themed crafts, priced accordingly & specific to your party!

There it is ...THE BASICS & then some. I wanted to write this so that you know I'm an authentic human, not a corporation out to "get rich quick" with no artistic ability. I did attend PSC and majored in Special Education as well as Graphic Design. I took classes in drawing, painting, pottery, Art history, & am knowledgeable about different mediums, materials,& technique, but again that is not my focus. I evolved from those wonderful teachers & classes, but they did not make me an artist. (I recommend if interested in taking your painting further.) I feel that you don't need attend art school or any other to enjoy or create art. ART in all forms (music, dance, visual) comes from one's SOUL in my opinion. What may move one person, will not move another. The point for the artist is the process getting there, & where they are after, not if anyone "likes it" or not. So ART on my fellow souls ART ON!
